Privacy Policy

Wedocore ("we," "us," or "our") built the Ember app ("App") as a commercial application. This page informs you about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use the App and the choices you have associated with that data.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve the App:

• Account data. When you create an account, we collect your email address and any display name you choose to provide.
• Profile data. We store your timezone and app preferences (such as whether reminders are enabled and whether you subscribe to Ember Pro).
• Habit data. We store the habits you create, including their name, emoji, color, schedule, reminder time, and health score.
• Check-in data. We store a timestamped record each time you mark a habit as complete.
• Device and usage data. We may automatically collect limited technical information such as device operating system version and app version to diagnose crashes and improve performance. We do not use advertising identifiers or track you across other apps or websites.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features
• Sync your data across devices when you are signed in
• Send habit reminders and push notifications (only when you have granted permission)
• Process Ember Pro subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system
• Respond to support requests and communications
• Diagnose technical issues and improve the App
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may receive some of your data in the course of providing the App's functionality:

• Supabase.We use Supabase to host our database and manage authentication. Your account credentials, profile, habit data, and check-in history are stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
• Apple App Store / In-App Purchases.If you subscribe to Ember Pro, your payment is processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card information. Apple's privacy policy is available at apple.com/legal/privacy.
• Apple Push Notification Service (APNs). Habit reminders are delivered through APNs. Your device token is stored and used solely for delivering the notifications you have requested.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Data Retention

We retain your account and habit data for as long as your account remains active. If you request deletion of your account, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.

Security

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Data at rest is stored in Supabase with row-level security (RLS) policies that ensure each user can only access their own records. While we take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to restrict or object to certain processing. See our Privacy Choices page for details on how to exercise these rights.

You can disable push notifications at any time in Settings → Notifications → Ember on your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the Last updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
